Cooperation in the Danube region is a key factor in creating more resilient and diverse supply and value chains in order to promote economic and sustainable growth. The opportunities and challenges of economic cooperation between the countries along the Danube are in the focus of the fourth edition of the event series ‘The Danube Region at the Turn of Times’, which is organised by the IHK Ulm and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism and takes place as part of the International Danube Festival in Ulm.
This time, hydrogen supply chains along the Danube will be in the spotlight of the event. Hydrogen is playing an increasingly important role for the economy. The Danube countries have also recognised the potential of hydrogen and are seeking to increase cooperation and investment in order to modernise the regional economies and promote sustainable development.
The event will bring together politicians, experts, business representatives, stakeholders and all those interested in and from the Danube region. It opens up spaces for professional and political dialogue in a wide variety of discussion, presentation and networking formats. ‘The Danube Region at the Turn of Times’ and the International Danube Festival also offer the ideal setting for companies from the various sectors of the region for business networking and for committee meetings of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region.
