The University of Sarajevo (UNSA) is hosting a World IP Day celebration on 26 April 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
As part of the activities of the scientific research project: “The Importance of Intellectual Property Rights in Encouraging Innovation and Creativity at the University of Sarajevo” (IVIK UNSA), which is implemented by the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Law with the support of the Center for Research and Development of the University of Sarajevo and co-financed by the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth of the Sarajevo Canton, the University of Sarajevo is organising the celebration of World Intellectual Property Day (World IP Day 2024) for the first time on 26 April 2024.
The World Intellectual Property Day (World IP Day) was established in 2000 at the initiative of the member states of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and offers a unique opportunity for the University of Sarajevo to join other universities, research institutions, and innovative companies around the world in celebrating the power of innovation and creativity, and thereby show how intellectual creations originating from our university that contribute to building a better future for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world.
In this year’s World IP Day 2024 at the University of Sarajevo, the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (INGEB), Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Science, Academy of Fine Arts, Academy of Performing Arts, and Music Academy will participate.
From 13:00 to 16:00 on April 26, 2024, the aforementioned faculties, academies, and institutes will present their innovative and creative potential to the interested public.
