Description of the programme / policy
UNIDO has implemented RECP programmes in the Western Balkans to help industries improve their resource efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize their environmental impact. Through capacity-building workshops, training programmes, and technical assistance, UNIDO has supported companies in adopting cleaner production practices and optimizing their resource utilization.

To enhance the resource efficiency and environmental sustainability of industries in the Western Balkans.
Specific objective of the programme/policy
To improve industries’ resource efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize environmental impact through the continuous application of preventive environmental strategies in processes, products, and services.
