This is a political document of the Albanian government drafted in the frame of the efforts to update and establish the health system framework for the next 10 years by meeting the main needs and demand for quality health services.

Main objective of the programme/policy

The main objective of this strategic document is the continuation of the efforts to improve public health and welfare by respecting their right to good health for the period 2021-2030.

Specific objective of the programme/policy

The document focuses on five strategic objectives:

1. Investing in people’s health throughout their lives.
2. Progressing toward universal health.
3. Strengthening the intergrated health system.
4. Strengthening the system to respond to emergencies.
5. Digital health.
