The public call on co-financing of scientific and technological cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Slovenia for the period 2024-2025.

Description of the programme/policy

Based on the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on cooperation in the field of culture, education and science the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH publishes a public call for the co-financing of scientific and technological cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Slovenia for the period 2024-2025. years. The subject of the public call is the co-financing of mutual visits of up to 14 days (travel and stay expenses) of researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and researchers from Slovenia who will carry out joint scientific research projects (hereinafter: bilateral projects) in the period 2024/2025. The Slovenian side will additionally co-finance longer visits (1-3) months in the Republic of Slovenia for young researchers (the term young researcher is defined by each institution in its competition according to its own rules) from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Main objective of the programme/policy

The goal of the public call is to strengthen scientific research cooperation with the Republic of Slovenia, increase the mobility of Bosnian researchers and the number of visits by top researchers from Slovenia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as increase the number of applications of Bosnian researchers to competitions of the framework programmes of the European Union in the field of research and innovation and to other international competitions.
