Description of the programme/policy
Through programme PRISMA , the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia is supporting basic and applied research in all fields of science. The programme is implemented with six sub programmes for the development of scientific research in the following fields of science: natural sciences, engineering and technological sciences, biotechnical sciences, biomedical sciences, artificial intelligence and social sciences and humanities. Through this programme, the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia (SF) aims to support basic and applied research in all fields of science. There are no pre-defined topics for projects within the programme.
Main objective of the programme/policy
The main objective of the programme is to support excellent, innovative and interdisciplinary research projects that can contribute to the advancement of knowledge, as well as to the economic and social development of Serbia.
Specific objective of the programme/policy
The specific objectives of the programme include: Supporting interdisciplinary research projects that can have a positive impact on economic and social development in Serbia
Encouraging collaboration between researchers from different disciplines and institutions
Enhancing the quality and relevance of research in Serbia
Strengthening the capacity of Serbian research institutions.
