Description of the programme/policy
programme is a planning strategic and operational document for the needs of managing the response of the health sector in the event of a crisis situation, imminent danger of an emergency situation and an emergency situation. The programme describes all necessary procedures, mechanisms and systems for managing emergency response at the national level. Procedures for managing the response to certain types of crisis and emergency situations are developed by the teams of the National Agency for Crisis and Emergency Management in the Health Sector.
Main objective of the programme/policy
The mail objective is focused on ensuring reliable and appropriate quality health care in the territory affected by the crisis and emergency situation, as well as the continuity of the provision of health services at the appropriate level in Republic of Serbia.
Specific objective of the programme/policy
The programme aims to respond effectively to health threats, reduce negative public health consequences during crises, ensure continuity of necessary health services, implement public health programmes, provide effective patient care, prevent spread of health risks, coordinate at all levels of health care, manage information and exchange it internationally, and contribute to the development of preparedness programmes.
