Main objective of the programme/policy

The main objective of the Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Programme in the Montenegrin Aquatorium is to provide reliable data on the current state of water quality in the coastal and marine waters of Montenegro. This is achieved through systematic and regular monitoring of various water quality parameters, including physical, chemical, and biological indicators. The programme aims to support effective management and protection of Montenegro’s aquatic resources, as well as to promote sustainable use and development of these resources.
