The Strategy for Gender Equality establishes comprehensive measures for the promotion of gender equality as a factor that encourages the development of society in the Republic of Serbia.
Main objective of the programme/policy
The general goal was to initiate the process of developing a gender equality strategy, and the following priority areas of action were identified: human resource management
decision-making and content of study programmes and research
Specific objective of the programme/policy
The specific goals of the gender equality strategy are: Reducing the gender gap in the economy, science and education as a prerequisite and incentive for the socio-economic development of society and Ensuring equal opportunities for the realization and protection of human rights as a prerequisite for development and a safe society
