Description of the programme/policy
The StarTech programme for supporting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises is part of a three-year project for the promotion of innovation and technological development in Serbia, implemented by NALED and financed by the Philip Morris company. The programme encourages dialogue and coordination of public and private sector initiatives in order to improve the innovation ecosystem through the Laboratory of Innovative Public Policies, which was formed within NALED. The laboratory will provide an analytical basis for planning reforms and creating conditions for accelerated economic development and preservation of creative potential in the country.
Main objective of the programme/policy
The main objective of StarTech programme is to provide financial and technical support to early-stage start-ups, as well as to facilitate their access to the market and investors. The programme offers various services, including training and mentoring, access to co-working spaces and networking events, as well as financial assistance in the form of grants.
