The programme is aligned with the goals of scientific research activities, in terms of creating new knowledge to encourage social, cultural, artistic and economic development, with the aim of preserving and affirming national identity as a part of civilizational heritage and with the focus of research on social challenges and priorities

Main objective of the programme/policy

The objective of the programme is to encourage excellence and relevance of scientific research in Serbia in the field of social sciences and humanities
affirmation of the importance of social sciences and humanities for education and society as a whole
improving international visibility and cooperation in the subject domain of science.

Specific objective of the programme/policy

The specific objectives of the programme include: To support high-quality research in the fields of social sciences and humanities

To promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research
To enhance the international visibility of research in the social sciences and humanities in Serbia
To encourage cooperation between researchers and institutions in Serbia and abroad.
