The right to sexual and reproductive health is an essential component of the universal right to the highest possible standard of physical and mental health, as defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and in other international conventions, declarations and consensuses on human rights and that is the concept of the programme
Main objective of the programme/policy
informed decisions related to sexuality and reproduction, regardless of the personal characteristics of individuals, such as sex, gender, age, disability, socio-economic status, cultural identity, sexual orientation, exposure to social deprivation, infection with the human immunodeficiency virus – HIV and other personal characteristics .
Specific objective of the programme/policy
Specific objective of programme is: Enable all people to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health and ensure respect, protection and fulfilment of their sexual and reproductive rights.
