Memorandum of cooperation between the Capital City and ICT Cortex

Description of the programme/policy

The capital city of Podgorica and the ICT Cortex signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at improving and developing information and communication technologies (ICT) in Podgorica. The memorandum envisages cooperation in areas such as the development of the IT sector, the improvement of the education system, support for start-ups and innovative companies, and the implementation of programmes for the development of the digital economy.

Main objective of the programme/policy

One of the programmes that will be implemented as part of this cooperation is support for solving the housing issue for 120 members of the IT community in Podgorica. The goal of this programme is to provide support to young experts in the IT sector to more easily achieve their professional goals and contribute to the development of this field in Montenegro.

Specific objective of the programme/policy

The memorandum envisages cooperation in organising expert meetings, workshops and conferences in the field of ICT, as well as support in the implementation of projects that contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the citizens of Podgorica.
