Description of the programme/policy
EESTEC Humanitarian action refers to efforts taken to alleviate the suffering of people in crisis situations, such as natural disasters, armed conflicts, and other emergencies. These actions involve providing food, shelter, medical assistance, and other forms of aid to affected individuals and communities. The goal is to save lives, alleviate suffering, and maintain human dignity in the face of adversity.
Main objective of the programme/policy
EESTEC Humanitarian action was created as a joint idea with colleagues from another student organisation BEST with the aim of making the Christmas holidays more joyful for children in difficult financial situations who cannot afford holiday gifts and enjoy the winter magic.
Specific objective of the programme/policy
The main goal of the EESTEC Humanitarian action is to alleviate the difficult existential situation of children through material donations of books, notebooks, toys, clothes, as well as monetary vouchers. In cooperation with the Red Cross of Montenegro, we have successfully realised the project and brought great joy to the children.
