The Serbian government has prioritized digitalisation and development of health services and public administration efficiency, as outlined in the programme of digitalisation in the Health System of the Republic of Serbia for 2022-2026. This programme aligns with the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030 and the European policy framework Health 2020. The development of information and communication technologies is recognized as having the potential to accelerate progress and knowledge in various fields, including medicine.
