Description of the programme/policy
The Digital Transformation programme of the University of Mediterranean aims to modernise the university’s infrastructure, teaching methods, and research capabilities through the integration of digital technologies. The programme will include the development of e-learning platforms, the introduction of new digital teaching tools, and the establishment of a research centre focused on digital technologies. In addition, the programme will include collaboration with the Montenegrin Association of Information Technology (MAIT) and the Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce (MCC) to provide students with practical experience and networking opportunities in the IT industry.
Main objective of the programme/policy
The main objective of the programme is to enhance the quality of education and research at the University of Mediterranean through the integration of digital technologies, and to prepare students for the digital age by equipping them with practical skills and knowledge in the IT industry.
Specific objective of the programme/policy
To develop e-learning platforms and online courses that provide students with flexible and accessible learning opportunities.
To introduce new digital teaching tools, such as virtual and augmented reality, to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
To establish a research centre focused on digital technologies to promote research and innovation in this field.
To provide students with practical experience and networking opportunities in the IT industry through collaboration with MAIT and MCC.
