Description of the programme/policy
This public policy document for the area of the circular economy also contains an Action Plan with one general and five specific goals, which define the measures and activities that will be implemented until the end of 2024.
Main objective of the programme/policy
The general goal is to create a stimulating environment for the development of the circular economy in order to support the green transition in the Republic of Serbia.
Specific objective of the programme/policy
Specific objectives of the programme are support to business entities for improving the efficiency of production, through the application of new technologies, energy efficiency, and the use of renewable energy sources and materials. Support for local self-governments in the development of local roadmaps for the circular economy is also foreseen, which will contribute to the formation of sustainable communities.
