The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro, via the NCP WIDERA.NET project, announces a call for pre-screening project applications under the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation “Horizon Europe.”
The pre-screening process is conducted through the wideraexperts.eu portal, a free platform connecting experts with applicants from Widening countries, including Montenegro. This aims to improve project proposals in the following Horizon Europe segments:
- Pillar II: Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness
- Health
- Culture, Creativity, and Inclusive Society
- Civil Security for Society
- Digitization, Industry, and Space
- Climate, Energy, and Mobility
- Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment
- Institutionalized European Partnerships
- Various joint ventures and partnerships, including for health, digital technologies, smart grids, clean aviation, etc.
- Pillar III: European Innovation Council (EIC)
- EIC Pathfinder Open
- EIC Pathfinder Challenges
- Expanding Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area
- Widening Participation and Spreading Excellence
- Reforming and Improving the European Research and Innovation System
Eligibility:
- Applicants from Montenegro (project coordinators or work package leaders) preparing a project application.
- Project proposals must be for one of the Horizon Europe segments listed above.
- Proposals must be in the final preparation stage and written in English.
Application Procedure:
- Register on the wideraexperts.eu portal.
- Inform the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of your registration via email: andjela.grujicic@mpni.gov.me.
The Ministry will fund the preliminary check for up to 14 project proposals from Montenegro. Costs for experts are covered by the Ministry via the NCP WIDERA.NET project. The call remains open until funds are exhausted or 14 applicants are registered.
