Skills for the Labor Market – Fit for Jobs project provides free IT Training to 240 Young People in Pristina

Recipients of training vouchers in information technology met under the Fit for Jobs project. As part of this scheme, 240 young people received training vouchers in various IT fields, including marketing, design, programming, and computer networks. This initiative highlights the support for capacity building to facilitate the transition from education to employment.

The project manager emphasised the successful collaboration between GIZ and the Ministry of Finance in engaging young people in the labour market. Additionally, the director of the Employment Agency encouraged young people to register at employment offices in their municipalities to benefit from the agency’s offerings.

During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the measures provided by the Government of Kosovo from employment counsellors at APRK.
