The EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) is an initiative that brings together EU member states bordering the Baltic Sea. The objective of this strategy is to promote sustainable development, competitiveness, innovation, transport, environmental protection, and security in the Baltic Sea region.
The EUSBSR encourages collaboration among regions in the Baltic Sea area through financial support, exchange of information and best practises, and facilitating cooperation among stakeholders from the public and private sectors. The initiative contributes to the development of the region, enhancing competitiveness, protecting the environment, and improving the quality of life for the inhabitants of the Baltic Sea region.
