Funding and Tenders Portal / Participant Identification Code (PIC) / Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR)

Last update:

The Funding and Tenders Portal is the main entry point for participation in EU projects to learn about the calls, manage organisational and individual profiles, project reporting etc.

Each organisation needs to use to register with the European Commission before participating in a project supported by the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (i.e. Horizon Europe). After registration, the organisation receives a Participant Identification Code (PIC) which needs to be used in all submissions and negotiations.

Only one person per organisation, the Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR) maintains administrative and financial data. These contacts are managed via the Funding and Tenders Portal.
