4th Call for WBF Move Grants to Boost Regional Cooperation and Mobility in the Western Balkans Region

The Western Balkans Fund (WBF) announced the opening of the Fourth Call for WBF Move Grants on 20 February 2024. The call is aimed at fostering regional cooperation and mobility within the Western Balkans Region. This initiative seeks to empower individuals across various sectors by providing financial support for projects that promote collaboration and exchange.

The WBF Move Grants offer a maximum amount of 4,000 Euros in grants to eligible applicants. The grants are open to diverse individuals, including academic staff, researchers, students, civil society activists, public employees, journalists, artists, athletes, and more.

WBF Move Grants is a grant scheme launched by the Western Balkans Fund in 2023. In the three previous Calls for Proposals (March, June, October 23), WBF provided 85 grants to regional stakeholders.

Key details of the Fourth Call for WBF Move Grants include:

  • Application Period: The application period will last 30 days, providing interested individuals ample time to submit their proposals (20 February-20 March).
  • Application Process: Applicants must apply through the Online Grant Management System, which can be accessed via the official webpage of the Western Balkans Fund at www.westernbalkansfund.org.
  • Eligibility: All citizens holding the nationality of one of the Contracting Parties of the WBF are eligible to apply.

The WBF Move Grants Scheme is part of the institutional strengthening and diversification of the grant portfolio of the Western Balkans Fund, supported by the Swiss Government.
